Funerals In Ajax
Cremation, as a closing phase of letting go of the dead body, has been done for centuries now. For some, it’s still not an accepted preference, yet for some cultures, it is openly accepted. So what really takes place if the surviving family chooses the cremation process for their dear departed? It is important to know, because we’d all want our dead to have a decent exit. Here is a brief-short overview on the service leading to cremation.
Before the actual cremation in Ajax process, the funeral director of your selected memorial service firm must first get hold of authorization document from the dead’s immediate family. This authorization states that the surviving family permits the cremation process for the dead family member, with all the necessary signatures.
On the day of cremation, the funeral director must ensure that there are no more jewelry or any other pieces of metal (be it pacemaker, artificial teeth, metal legs, etc.) attached on the dead person’s body. This is done to avoid any procedural disaster.
After the preparation, the corpse is then positioned inside a wooden casket or cremation container. These types of containers will burn easily during the cremation process. Of course, appropriate tagging or identification is done so as not to send the wrong fragments to the living family members.
After carrying out the entire burning cycle, 30 minutes of cooling down is required. It can also be extended up to an hour if necessary. After the cool-down period, the bone fragments will be subjected to another process. The fragments are to be placed on top of a working table whereby the crematory staff will be tasked to purge all the metal debris, either by hand or by a big magnet.
After the metal debris has been taken away, the bone fragments are placed in a processor that pulverizes it until it reaches the “ash” consistency. The ash has the consistency of fine powder and it’s usually referred to as cremains (cremated remains).
The cremains are then enclosed in the family’s selected urn. In the absence of an urn, the cremains will be enclosed in a transitory plastic case.
The cremation process is quick and easy. It is also a reasonably-priced choice, yet it is still a decent method to say goodbye to your dead loved one.
